Nxe5! — The Only Good Move!

⚠️ Critical position — You found the crushing blow! While Black's knight looks active on e5, it is actually a "hanging" piece. By playing Nxe5, you simply remove their best piece and win a full Knight for free.

Why this is the only good move: Black has neglected their development and left the e5 completely undefended. This move seizes a massive material advantage (+4.23) immediately. If you don't take it now, Black will solidify with d6 and the golden opportunity to win the game on the spot vanishes.

Why Other Moves Fail

The traps: Many players feel "scared" to trade pieces early or worry about a counter-attack. However, playing developing moves like Nc3 or Be2 ignores the fact that Black has made a tactical blunder. In chess, when your opponent leaves a piece "en prise" (in take), you must punish it immediately or the advantage evaporates.

How To Find The Only Good Move

Step 1 — Recognize the critical moment: Whenever an opponent moves a piece into your territory (the 4th or 5th rank), your first question must be: "Is that piece defended?"

Step 2 — Eliminate the traps: Don't get distracted by "developing" your own pieces. If you play c4, Black simply retreats with Nc6 and the game remains equal. Calculation shows that taking the knight leads to no immediate danger for White.
